I come back with a new post because I don’t understand what is it with some people and Holydays.
I have been hearing so many people complaining about the holidays. Sure, the Christmas music never stops and their is red and green coloring everywhere AND shopping is now an obligation to the people you love. Which lets face it, does not make sense. But, suck it up. It is the holiday season and it only comes once a year. I am usually at my happiest around this time of the year and I don't let anything get me down. It seems like other people let things get to them, like work and money and of course, finals. But they are completely missing the point of the holidays. The point is to not worry about what is going on around you, but to remember the moments that make you smile and to give back to your fellow man. It sounds awfully corny and annoying, I know this. It is hard to remember what this season is about though when sales are being thrashed at you and that annoying sales clerk won't get off your coat tails. It is our responsibility to have a good time this time of year. Spend it with the people you love, quality not quantity is the phrase this month and something we should live by all year round.
So stop telling me to turn down my music and to shut my Christmas tree lights off and to stop smiling. Just let the Holidays spirit hit you and I guarantee the Christmas caroling will begin to escape your throat. :D
